Rev. Eugene C. Larr, Chapel Co-Founder (Deceased)
Rev. Larr was practicing clairvoyant, clairaudient trance-medium since 1949. Early in his life he began the study and practice of Mahayana Buddhism. A few years later, following a tour of duty in the Navy, he was introduced to Spiritualism by Rev. Jean Bradley of St. Michael’s Spiritual Church in Pasadena, California.
Rev. Larr also avidly pursued his academic goals in several areas of study, receiving doctorates in both Micro-Paleontology and Religious Science, with minor degrees in Astronomy and Astrophysics. Diverse as his academic training may seem, coupled with his religious study and practice, it has given him a broadly based and profound knowledge and understanding of the world we live in and Man’s place in it. It is this knowledge and understanding, along with many years of experience, which Rev. Larr called upon in formulating the basic philosophy of the Chapel of Awareness Spiritual Church.
